Is this a Real Estate Correction Happening?
Is the Canadian Real Estate Market starting to correct itself and move towards a balanced market? Possibly. In certain areas and with certain products we have seen signs of no offers and lower prices than in February 2022. On that note, February 2022 may be the Best month of the year for Sellers and we haven’t even finished March…
Seems like Townhomes and properties near the Downtown Core and industrial areas will be affected the most.
More Homes coming in the Market, the increase in interest rates, buyer fatigue and that some buyers have bought already have contributed to this slight decrease in House Prices.
Home prices are still great compared to 2 years ago but don’t expect to get what your neighbour got. Looks like a 10-12% increase in prices as opposed to the 20-25% increase we have seen.
