Are your inner voices arguing with each other about your abilities, qualifications and comfort level? In the Luxury Market I can’t stress how important it is to conquer the inner voices that have “Limiting Beliefs.” Be careful what you say when you talk to yourself, because you are listening! Take this thought to heart and be mindful of what you tell yourself daily.
There are a lot of misconceptions about selling Luxury homes and getting into the Luxury Market as a Real Estate
Sales Representative.
You need to be a top producer or veteran agent before you can start selling high end homes.
You need to be wealthy.
You need to live in a large home.
You need to drive an expensive car.
You need to work in a certain office.
You need to be in a certain social circle.
This is simply not the case. I call these types of comments “Limiting Beliefs” and I know you have heard them all from peers and associates. Don’t allow these misconceptions to hold you back. Don’t give yourself permission to be a non-starter or accept defeat by believing them.
It is all about your Mindset. What I can promise you is that you will not double your income or be a “rock star” Luxury agent in your marketplace if you don’t have a strong inner game and a strong “Why”. When you are focused on your goals and your reasons for wanting success, you will surround yourself with positive people. Your environment will be positive. Your inner game will be stronger because you have a strong support system.
The problem with most agents is that they have and embraced “Limiting Beliefs.” If you say, ”I don’t have enough experience,” then guess what? You’re not going to take action because you have discounted yourself from even having a chance. You have given yourself permission and an excuse to fail. If you don’t take action you will never know what you are capable of, nor will you gain the experience necessary to build your confidence and sales power. If you never ‘put yourself out there’ and take action, you maintain the assumption that you are not good enough to compete in the Luxury market.
I’m here to tell you, “Don’t sell yourself short.”
You have to strengthen your inner game and face challenges head on. With time and hard work your business and mindset will improve tremendously.
Work on your action steps and implement them. Figure out your ‘WHY’ for wanting success and for building your business in the Luxury Real Estate market. Strengthen your brain and your inner game with good books, masterminds and successful people.
Set your goals. Decide on your business model and arm yourself with a plan. Grow your knowledge, practice it and your confidence will grow. Your inner game will grow, and you’ll be more confident because you have the knowledge and skills to rely on. Set your goals and arm yourself you with a plan.
