It is a proven fact that staged homes sell faster and for more money; however this truly depends on whether you are capable of doing it yourself or hiring a professional Stager or working with a realtor who will bring in a professional and pay for it themselves.
Staging removes distractions & helps buyers see the focal points, detailed features of the home. It also allows them to visualize themselves living in the space, noting arrangement of furniture whether or not a King size bed could easily fit into the primary bedroom.
Recently, we listed a 700 sqft condo in Niagara Falls it was vacant & I knew buyers would have a hard time imagining themselves living in such a small space. We hired a professional stager & she was able to stage the condo beautifully using large pieces of furniture as well! The condo sold in 7 days. We were able to create an incredible listing of photos that were able to grab the attention of several buyers. The space remained true to the photos, when the buyers physically came to view the property; I cannot stress the importance of this!!!
The picture that I uploaded was taken before the kitchen cupboards had been painted white. By adding a fresh coat of paint to the walls, doors & changing the color of the cupboards it made this little condo look larger, newer & elegant.
