Ancaster is an affluent community situated just West of Hamilton off of highway 403. When compared with Burlington, Oakville and Toronto this area offers exceptional housing affordability which explains why buyers from these communities are migrating to Ancaster. Located on the Niagara Escarpment the natural geography of Ancaster is absolutely breathtaking. It features Tiffany Falls Conservation Area along numerous hiking trails including the Heritage and Bruce Trails. Also, Ancaster Village is a highly walkable area with several quaint shops, restaurants and historic buildings. Ancaster still offers a small town feel within an urban setting.

Special occasions call for an elegant backdrop – and it doesn’t get much better than dining beside a waterfall. Ancaster Mill is an iconic Hamilton fine dining institution housed in an old stone flour mill. With an earth-to-table ethos and seasonally inspired dishes, the menu is exceptional as the views.
Italian classics get a modern makeover with local, seasonal ingredients in an elegant, but laidback, setting. Think chicken parmesan, pappardelle Bolognese and stone-baked pizzas. To mix it up, there's a smattering of other favourites, like shrimp tacos and burgers.
