Wayne Schilstra was born and raised on a dairy farm in West Lincoln. Having been raised on a farm, Wayne has a natural connection to the rural area and its people. He has lived in West Lincoln all his life and currently lives in Smithville. In 1989 Wayne married Christine Bouwers. Together, they have been blessed with 5 children, 3 son-in-laws, 1 daughter-in-law and 10 grandchildren. As a family, they enjoy spending time in the pool, playing and watching sports and card games.

Since 1987, Wayne has enjoyed a very successful career in real estate sales. He has helped thousands of clients throughout Niagara, Hamilton and Haldimand. Wayne's real estate business grew over the years that it became necessary to expand in order to offer the highest standard of service to his many clients. The Wayne Schilstra Team consists of 3 sales reps: David Hildebrand (son-in-law), Wesley Schilstra (son), Peggy Cook; one full-time administrator: Kimberly Leith; sign manager: Eric Leith; Interior Designer/Stager: Grace Schilstra (sister in-law). Together they strive to create the best experience and results for their clients where staging, custom signage, professional photography  and outstanding service comes standard with each property listed.

When Wayne is not working (which is rarely) you might spot him on his Honda Gold Wing.
