Inspired by Veri Peri, the 2022 Pantone Color of the Year, Luxury Defined presents seven homes with architecture and interior design accentuated with alluring shades of blue
The Pantone Color Institute, which helps manufacturers, artists, and printers coordinate and reproduce accurate colors across product lines and in different media, chose Veri Peri as 2022’s Color of the Year. Pantone color No. 19-4052, a “dynamic periwinkle blue hue with a vivifying violet-red undertone” will inspire design trends, from fashion and cosmetics to food, furniture, and interior decor, over the course of the year. Veri Peri is, by definition, contemporary: The institute created this bold new color to blend “the faithfulness and constancy of blue with the energy and excitement of red.” Both warm and cool, it is reminiscent of fields of lavender on a midsummer morning and a snow-covered landscape at dusk.
