We were an Agent's worst Client...ever!
My husband and I decided we wanted a change, but we lived in a great home, large property, great neighbourhood, great everything and really didn't know what type of change we wanted. So, we had Sandra show us houses for at least a year, probably over 100 homes with no success (no fault of Sandra's we just didn't know what we wanted). In October 2015 our family came to a very difficult decision; it was time to re-locate my 87 year old father to assisted living. December activity was slightly lighter then last year, but much higher then 2019! Inventory is extremely low, and our sales are outpacing new listings, which adds up to a very strong seller’s market. Appointments this December were extremely robust, on par with December 2020 which was a record month, illustrating that our agent’s possess strong marketing abilities to attract the most qualified buyers to their client’s properties. Our combined sales for 2021 reached a record 15,104!!! And our agents outsold our competitors by 5.5 times for the month of December.

January continues to outperform the same time frame last year, with 28.6% more appointments so far this month! Appointments are also up 5.1% compared to last week.
The Appointment/Sold index is down from last week but still higher than previous weeks. This is simply because the buyers are outpacing the inventory.
In Hamilton, we saw a slight shuffle in popular price ranges but remained in the mid-high price ranges. The $1-2M price range continues to be #1 in Burlington, followed by mid-high price ranges. Niagara saw low, mid and high price ranges represented in the top 5 this past week.
